Giles Music Group, LLC is owned by Roderick Giles, a native Washingtonian. He attended Eastern High School and was a member of the world renowned Eastern High School Choir. He studied under and credits the development of his musical expertise to his mentor the highly esteemed, Dr. Joyce Garrett. Roderick began singing at the age of five and since then has come to realize, along with his many supporters, that music is his passion. At age 13, he traveled to Europe as one of the lead soloists with the "Children’s Gospel Choir of America" where he was a member for four years. He is the Founder and Director of two multi-talented groups "EXTOL" and "Grace." He is also a dedicated member and a lead soloist of Patrick Lundy and the Ministers of Music.

Roderick is an active member of the Southern Baptist Church Praise and Worship Center where he formed the SBC Chorale—the choir who won the Verizon Wireless "How Sweet the Sound" regional choir competition for two consecutive years.

Roderick served as the vocal producer on the 52nd recording for gospel great--Dorothy Norwood--who was an original member of the legendary gospel group "The Caravans." He also sang and directed background vocals for Dorinda Clark Cole, Vashawn Mitchell, and Melvin Williams (The Williams Brothers) who also performed as special guests during the recording.

Roderick composes and arranges music, directs choirs, provides vocal coaching, and conducts vocal workshops. Most importantly, Roderick loves the word of God. One of his favorite passages of scripture is Galatians 6:9 KJV and it reads: "And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
